Done Until Next Vacation

I am so happy with how this turned out.  I smile when I pull up to the cottage now.  We scrubbed the awnings, the siding, and the foundation, then we painted everything but the siding.  We scrapped paint and sanded carpet glue.  Our original plan was to keep the old railings, but it was more work than we had energy.  Honestly, I am happy about the no maintenance of the new railings.  The Restore will find the old ones a new home.  Dollface looked at me like I was crazy, when I said I wanted to add vinyl tiles to the foundation wall, but I think that is my favorite update.  I found floating deck tiles that matched the soffit, but I would have never dreamed of keeping the soffit  color.  I consider it a happy accident : )
